Loch Lomond & Inverary Castle
Visit the picturesque highland village of Luss on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. View the 11th century Viking Hogback stone in the local churchyard and take in the stunning flora covered cottages.
Relax, and enjoy the fabulous scenery on the drive to Inverary Castle, the Ancestral home of the Duke of Argyl, chief of the clan Campbell. Visit the gardens, and try to spot the locations which were used in some episodes of ‘Downtown Abbey’.
Outlander Locations
For fans of the hit show ‘Outlander’, you are in for a treat! We can spend a day, or more if you would like, travelling around the various locations used in the filming of the series. We will follow in the footsteps of Jamie & Claire Fraser as we visit the locations used as: Lallybroch, Castle Leoch, Cransemuir, Inverness, Wentworth, the Duke of Sandringhams Residence amoung other little known gems. This has been a very popular tour, and also great fun. Again, this tour can be customized to your needs.
Glencoe
Visit the stunning scenery which surrounds Glencoe, experience the haunting atmosphere as you travel through the mountains. Enjoy the beautiful landscape which surrounds you mirrored in various Lochs. Take a drive through Glen Etive, where we often stop to take in the awe-inspiring views and also to relive the classic James Bond 007 ‘Skyfall’ moment. Visit the Glencoe Massacre memorial and learn about the Massacre of 1692 involving the Campbells and the MacDonalds.
Loch Ness
Let us take you away to the world famous Loch Ness, home of the infamous ‘Nessie’ - A truly amazing place! Visit Urquhart Castle on the very banks of the Loch, take a boat trip and search for Nessie, or just relax and enjoy the fabulous views back to the castle. Visit the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre where you will learn about the Geological formation of Loch Ness. Included in this tour you would visit the Glenfinnan Monument & Visitor Centre where you can interactively learn about the plight of the Jacobites, before continuing onward on our journey to Culloden Moor. Here you can walk in the footsteps of the Jacobites, and stopping to view the Clan Stones along the way. A very atmospheric place indeed.
